This project aims at studying the appropriate definitions on standard of morals among the students of
Pathumwan Institute of Technology and also looks for further guidelines to solve the serious moral problems among the
teenagers, which are regarded as important social issues at present. The main target groups; 102 teenagers, for this
project are the 27 participants joining the moral improvement program done by the institute and include other 75
students who are friends of the first target groups. The results show that the target groups agree that standard of morals
mentioned in the questionnaires should be practiced by everyone in the society. In fact, most of the target groups
respectively think that every standard of moral is very important and important, but there are about 10 per cent of them
who do not think like this. Thus, this leads to an interesting point that the moral problems among the youths will be
more serious in the future if the number of people thinking like this increase. Furthermore, the target groups also state
that the present society has serious moral problems among the teenagers as well. Among these two groups, both of them
concern about rationality, responsibility, honesty, justice, gratitude, respectfulness and politeness. The research results
also show that difference between the individuals and influences from surrounding people play important part on moral
development. At last, the solutions for the problems should emphasize on the morals of which regarded with high
importance among the students as pilot projects and activities for attitude and behavioral adjustment program in the
future.
